It’s thin enough to close the door but thick enough to be absorbent and comfy. I bought two different red rugs thinking I could return one. But I like them both and this one definitely has advantages. I highly recommend it for the reasons I stated.

I love this mat. I originally bought this for the inside of my front door, but unfortunately it was too thick and my door wouldn’t open with it down. Now I use it underneath my dog bowls to catch water dripping from my dogs mouth. I shake it out every Sunday and I wash it twice a month and it’s held up great! I will be buying 2 more for my puppies once they are here!

These are great mats! The color isn’t quite solid, which makes them attractive, and the mat underside is solid, so no dirt or moisture can get through. I bought one for inside each door and am very pleased.

Works well at holding water/dirt when we come in the door. Has a weight to it and a grippy bottom so it stays in place well! We have a second one at the foot of the bed to help our small dog launch up to the raised bed as well. He likes to lay on it sometimes.

Love that it doesn’t move around much at all. I keep it at the back door entryway. Catches a lot of fur though. Can’t get much off with the Dyson but mostly all the fur will come off after a wash.

Inexpensive, but great rug for dog traffic in/out of the house. Stays in place on tile floor! This was important, as last rug kept sliding around ( not this brand). This one stays put. Easily shakes out dirt when you need it.
