We ordered this hammock because my son’s boy scout troop does a hammock hiking outing at least once a year. This hammock will work perfectly. It is lightweight and compact enough for him to comfortably put in his hiking backpack and not be a burden. It is made of mesh material for those hot days/nights. We certainly need the tree-friendly straps as we would not want to harm any trees in setting up camp.It is pretty quick and easy to set up. It states the weight limitation is 450 lbs. so it holds a lot of weight.

This hammock is a great piece of kit. Because of the mesh construction it is actually lighter than my other camping hammock, but provides just as much support. It also breathes really well in hot weather, although the mosquitoes have a much larger area in which to work–so that is a trade off.It feels really sturdy and supports my weight well enough, but I replaced the included hardware because that was definitely on the cheap side. Get some better quality straps and ‘biners and you have an excellent option for summer camping.

I like the mesh on the hammock part. It makes it cooler with the air flowing through it so I don’t overheat in the sun. Seems sturdy and packs nicely in the bag

This held well our weight and I really like the fact that the mesh keeps the air running and cools you down. I also noticed this glows in the dark which is nice.

I really like the material this is made with. It’s a little like sports jersey webbing material that is breathable. I ordered the green color and it looks great. It comes with the straps and carabineers to hang it from two trees, and a tote bag It feels very strong and should last a long time. Very nice product at a great price.
